Article 5.1 of the By-laws of the chapter require that written notice of the Chapter Annual Meeting date shall be made to the membership at least thirty (30) days prior to the meeting. Notice is hereby given to the membership-at-large of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club that the Annual Meeting of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the AMC shall be held at 5:00pm, Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Washington D.C , Venue :TBD. For details of the meeting, and the contact for reservations, please consult the chapter website: amc-dc.org Nominations for Chapter Officer positions: A Nominating Committee has been formed and is accepting nominations for the four Officer positions: Chair, Vice-Chair, Recording Secretary and Treasurer.
